This website is operated by John Stones Beds & Mattresses (referred to as us or we).

By using this Site, you agree to the following terms of use (the “Terms of Use”) and our privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this Site.

We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to modify, alter, or update these Terms of Use from time to time.

By accepting our terms of use, you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates.

Order Acceptance

Upon acceptance of orders, you will receive confirmation email. The receipt of an email order confirmation by you constitutes our acceptance of an order and the conclusion of a contract between us to sell the goods you have ordered, subject to these terms.

Following such acceptance, we will always seek to meet the requirements of your order, however, there may be circumstances where we are unable to ship products due to unavailability (of which we were not aware at the time of confirmation of the order). In the unlikely event that is the case, our despatch team will notify you as soon as possible and will refund the money for the unavailable products back onto your card or into your account or offer an alternative product.

Equally, we will always aim to provide accurate information on our website and to ensure that any product descriptions, details and dimensions, prices and other information is correct and up to date, you acknowledge that errors can sometimes occur.

Where we identify an error that materially impacts your confirmed order, we will notify you as soon as possible and will provide you with the option of cancelling your order in full or the part(s) of your order affected by the misinformation. For cancellations under these circumstances a full refund of the affected part or parts of the order will be made.

Prices and availability of products on the Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered, and we reserve the right to revoke any offer or offers, and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including after an order has been submitted).

Deposits

If you choose to pay a deposit for your order, you agree that this is non refundable, except in the event of unavailability of a product or a pricing or offer error, which leads to us having to cancel the order.

Discount Codes

Discount Codes are restricted to one per customer, per order. Any order that attempts to combine coupon codes in order to gain a greater discount will be cancelled and refunded. Discount codes are offered solely at our discretion, and we reserve the right to withdraw any special offer or coupon code at any time without notice.

Alterations and Amendments

Amendments can be made to orders free of charge before they have been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, there may be a charge to amend items within an order.

Any alterations made to orders may incur extra charges. We will make every effort to advise of these charges before any alterations are carried out, or any amounts are charged.

Delivery

While we will do our best to accommodate any delivery requirements and dates, there are sometimes circumstances outside of our control that will impact this. As such, we are unable to guarantee dates and requirements.

If you have any special requirements and/or delivery restrictions, these should be stated at the checkout in the notes section. Alternatively, you can also call or email us to let us know as soon as your order has been placed.

In the unlikely event of damage being caused to your property by the delivery team, we are unable to accept responsibility for any damages or expenses.

Please note that drivers can only deliver to your house or flat’s front door unless you have selected the assembly option. Please measure the stairways correctly in case the bed cannot get through the stairway as our drivers are unable to accept the return of any beds or mattresses.

We shall not be liable for any loss, economic loss of profit or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

If you are unable to accept the delivery, please inform us within 1 hour of the dispatch email being sent to you. If you fail to notify us and are unable to receive the delivery on the day, there will be a charge of £60 to cover our costs for redelivery to your address.

Please note that adverse weather conditions may delay your delivery.

What do I do if my goods arrive damaged or missing?

Goods damaged in delivery

Before signing the delivery paperwork, please ensure you inspect the goods to ensure the packaging is intact and all the items are in good condition.

If your product has been damaged in transit, or the packaging is not intact, please make sure you notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Warranty

All our products come with a warranty for your peace of mind.

Any bed frames purchased from our website include a 90-day warranty. Should your frame develop any defects within the first 90 days, we will repair or replace any parts of the bed frame that are found to be defective.

A part replacement warranty for up to 2 years means that we will continue to support our customers even after the initial 90-day warranty period has ended. If any part of the bed frame fails within 2 years of the purchase date due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will provide replacement parts to our customers at no additional cost. This helps to ensure that our customers can continue to enjoy their bed frames for years to come.

Certain exclusions apply to our warranties, including any damage caused by wear and tear, misuse, or improper assembly.

 Cancellation and Returns

We offer all customers a 14-day cooling off period in which you can cancel your order. You can do this by emailing us with your order number. Alternatively, you can write to us at the address shown on our website.

Any custom-made products are non-returnable and non-refundable this includes any custom sized headboards, footboards or side rails.

In line with our returns policy, your item(s) needs to be:

  • Unused
  • In its original packaging (with the tags)
  • In a resaleable condition
  • With its proof of purchase
  • You’ll also need to return any free items that came with the product.

Orders cannot be cancelled after the 14 days have passed.

Any items being returned due to customer error (for example, because the customer has ordered the incorrect size) and/or where the product is not faulty there will be a charge of £175 to cover the admin, onward delivery and refund process.

Please contact us to request order FREE Fabric Samples before placing an order if you are unsure of the colour. We will not accept a return once the bed has been delivered and you dislike the colour or material.

Return costs are to be covered by the customer. We will inform customers of these costs when you contact our customer service team to initiate a return.

If the product is cancelled before being dispatched, an administration fee of £75 is payable. If delivery cannot be made on the day requested due to access issues or unforeseen circumstances we will attempt a re-delivery at your request on a specific day for a charge of £50.00 per pallet. All returned/exchanged products (including the boxes) must be in their ORIGINAL CONDITION PACKAGING. (PLEASE DO NOT TAPE UP OR WRITE ON THE BOXES).

They must also be suitably packaged.

Customers are advised to retain proof of postage from the courier service of their choice before returning any products.

We are unable to accept responsibility of the goods until they have been received in our warehouse and are not liable for any goods lost in transit.
